Accuracy Statement
Last updated: October 23, 2026
We work hard to make sure the winning numbers and statistics on The Lottery Matrix are complete and correct. Even so, errors can happen, and we cannot guarantee that every result on this Site is accurate.
Official results always take precedence. Winning numbers are only official when published by the lottery that runs the game. In the event of any discrepancy between this Site and the official results, the official results govern. Always check your ticket with an authorized lottery retailer or your state lottery before you claim a prize or throw a ticket away.
Where our numbers come from
- Powerball, February 2010 to today: the official Powerball winning numbers file published by the Texas Lottery Commission, a participating state lottery. We check it after every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday drawing.
- Powerball, November 1997 to January 2010: results originally published on powerball.com and archived over the years. Where this archive overlaps the Texas Lottery file, all 817 shared drawings match.
- Mega Millions, December 2003 to today: the official Mega Millions winning numbers file published by the Texas Lottery Commission. We check it after every Tuesday and Friday drawing.
Each result is checked against the rules of the game in effect on its draw date, such as the ball ranges, before it appears on the Site. New results usually appear within a few hours of a drawing, but they can be delayed if the official source is late or unavailable.
Statistics, patterns, and predictions
Frequencies, gaps, “hot” and “cold” numbers, and the other statistics on this Site are calculated from past results and describe history only. Lottery drawings are random and independent: no number is ever “due,” and nothing on this Site can predict future results or improve your odds of winning. Please don’t treat anything here as advice about which numbers to play.
Jackpots, prizes, and rules
Game rules, prize amounts, draw schedules, and odds are set by the lotteries and can change. For current jackpots, prize payouts, claim deadlines, and rules, see the official game website or your state lottery.
